Glacier View Lodge provides a caring home for residents who have complex health needs. We are proud to be known for excellence in dementia care.

We provide professional nutritional services, activation programming, spiritual care, housekeeping and laundry services. We follow many best practices to deliver resident-centered care. We are committed to regularly reviewing the care that we provide through ongoing quality management and regular surveys by Accreditation Canada. Glacier View Lodge provides short-term care to those whose caregivers

need a break. Those admitted to our respite program are able to access all care and services available to residents of Glacier View Lodge. The Adult Day Program offers services to seniors with complex health issues who are still living in the community to connect with others in the community and participate in a variety of social, physical, cognitive and spiritual/emotional programs. Clients attend on the same day each week, allowing their caregivers to have a scheduled break.

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported our fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible $3,575! A special thanks to Comox Valley Metal for a donation of $1000.

These funds will go toward enhancing our wing lounges, helping us create even more welcoming and beautiful spaces for our residents to relax and enjoy. We truly appreciate the support from our community. 💛

We are excited to share that our Mother’s Day basket raffle is now live!

This basket has been thoughtfully put together by our Quality Improvement Committee with generous donations from many of our amazing local businesses! This basket is valued at over $850!!

It is a wonderful opportunity to win something special while supporting a meaningful initiative.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone and an even more incredible person! 🎉

After 32.5 years with GVL, it’s time to wish a very happy retirement to someone who has truly been the definition of dedication, hard work, and heart.

Over the years, they have saved the day more times than we can count—and in more than a dozen different ways!

Their knowledge, commitment, humor, and willingness to help have made a lasting difference, and they leave behind some very big shoes to fill.

Thank you Marie, for 32.5 amazing years of service, loyalty, and for always going above and beyond. Wishing you nothing but happiness, relaxation, and all the adventures retirement brings—you’ve more than earned it!
