MOM VS. THE MOUNTAIN: 0–1
Mom decided to take on the mountain. The mountain had other plans.

Thankfully, our firefighters were there to lend a hand, and apparently pose for the family photo album.

Nothing says quality mother-daughter time quite like a rescue stretcher, three firefighters, two paramedics and a daughter saying, “Wait! Everybody smile!”

And the best part? Mom was smiling all the way and has already vowed to return next year to see the fall colours! Apparently, she and the mountain have some unfinished business.

Take care of one another. We will be there if you need us.

Fire Prevention Week 2026 starts with our littlest learners!
We had a great visit with the Primary classes from Coxheath Elementary today! They got an up-close look at the fire trucks and equipment, met some of our firefighters, and most importantly, learned about fire prevention and how they can help keep themselves and their families safe.
Fire safety is something we can start teaching early, and these little learners were ready to listen, ask questions and explore!
A special thank you to Ms. LeBlanc and Ms. MacDougall for bringing the kids to the hall and spending part of Fire Prevention Week with us. We loved having you at the fire hall.

Take care on one another. We will be there if you need us.
