Delivered another big video transfer job to a client tonight. She was so happy, especially before Christmas. Now she can share all the videos with her kids and family over the holidays!
I also did a bounce trip to the city yesterday (Sunday) to deliver a couple of boxes of tapes and a USB thumb drive with all the digitized video files to a couple old great friends. I am sure they are gonna have fun sitting and watching them with their 2 young kids (women).
I think I'm getting the hang of this work.

I have recently finished a couple big video transfer jobs. One of them was approx 100 VHS and camcorder tapes, plus a couple DVD's. I had to buy some more "old" equipment to get that job done quickly. So I can now say I'm ready for almost any size of job. I'm now getting back to transferring some 8mm film reels for a client. I also did a couple big slide/negative film jobs this spring.
So please if you have anything "old" lying around, get it transferred before it's too late.
I am so happy to get these jobs finally finished. And then to hear how happy my clients were, watching and seeing these files again!

Well after almost 3 years, I'm back!
Better than ever. Got my office set up.
I had to upgrade the flatbed scanner software, it is really amazing what it can do to film strips, slides, negatives, prints. It captures the file in a RAW file, with an IR file attached that I can go back and edit later to remove dust and scratches, and do colour correction. Amazing.
And I got the 8/16mm film scanner working! So fun to be able to transfer this stuff.
Plus I dug out and cleaned the video gear, and it's running perfectly.
I'm just finishing a couple big jobs, but I am eager to take on more work to help save your media and get it digitized.
So like I say, back it up, before it's too late.

Well, it’s been a long journey.
I had to totally gut and renovate most of my house. I have started to set up my computers and some scanning, transfer equipment in my “office”, even though it’s not painted yet.
I will let you know when I am ready to take on some work.

Well now with the stay at home shutdown. I will have more time at home. I'm gonna set up my equipment, even though the room isn't ready yet. I will post when I have tested all the equipment and have everything up and running. Hopefully by end of day tomorrow. Cheers

Moved into my house a week ago. Still trying to find things?!?!? I hope to set up some equipment soon? But between fixing my house and working my regular job every day, I don't have much time for this work yet. Soon I hope. Cheers
