Let's face it, this community has been through a lot. And our future is still uncertain. But what makes our community strong is the people. So let's come together to envision what we want for Cremona.
Our facilitator will be Connie Jakab, who we were grateful to have as a guest at our volunteer appreciation event in May. She is a speaker, author, community builder, and founder of Bravely Connected Communities, an organization dedicated to building belonging, unlocking potential, and growing stronger neighbourhoods. With a passion for bringing people together, Connie creates engaging, interactive experiences that help people move beyond differences, discover the strengths in themselves and others, and imagine what’s possible when communities work together. Known for her energy, creativity, and down-to-earth approach, Connie believes that meaningful change begins with connection, curiosity, and the courage to see the good in one another. Her heart is to help communities become places where everyone feels valued, has something to contribute, and knows they belong.
