The original logo used by the Town of Cupids was designed in 1986. “Krista Wells, as a grade five student from Brigus Academy, submitted the winning entry in a competition to design a coat of arms for Cupids. The 'C' stands for Cupids and encircles the representation of the monument that recognizes John Guy as the founding settler of the community. (source: Memorial University, Municipal Coats of Arms)

The updated version which you will see used on communication from the town going forward honours her original version while carrying the story of Cupids forward for a new generation. The town engaged Krista in the updated process and she was honoured to be considered and excited about the update.
