Village of Czar Administration

10/18/2026

Prime Minister Carney has called for the federal buildings to fly their Canadian flags at half mast. It is only fitting that our municipality does the same. Thank you to our Public Works foreman and Westend firefighter, Mark Wight for making his way into town on his day off to lower the Village of Czar Canadian flag after yesterday’s tragic event at CFB Wainwright, our neighbours. 💔🇨🇦

10/16/2026

The Village office will be closed on Wednesday, October 21st.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

🍁🦃 HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM THE VILLAGE OF CZAR! 🦃🍁
As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Village of Czar would like to extend warm wishes to all our residents, families, friends, and neighbours! 🧡
Thanksgiving is a wonderful reminder to slow down for a moment and appreciate the many blessings in our lives — both big and small.
🍂 The family and friends who fill our lives with love and laughter.
🍂 The memories we’ve made and the experiences we’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy.
🍂 The kindness of neighbours and the strength of a caring community.
🍂 The simple pleasures that often mean the most.
We all have something to be thankful for, and sometimes it’s the little things in life that turn out to be the biggest blessings.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with gratitude, laughter, good company, and wonderful memories. 🍁

🧡 From our little Village to your home — Happy Thanksgiving!
