👕 Basic Needs Clothing Grant—APPLY NOW!🧥

Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì’ is pleased to offer the 2026 Basic Needs Clothing Grant to support Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in families with essential clothing purchases.

Eligible TH Citizens living in the Yukon may receive:
• Ages 0–9: $625 per year
• Ages 10–18: $750 per year

The grant can be used for:
✔️ Everyday clothing
✔️ Winter gear
✔️ Rain gear
✔️ Hunting apparel

📝 Please note:
—This grant is only available to TH Citizens living in the Yukon due to FUNDING RESTRICTIONS
—We are always working on sourcing funding options that do not have restrictions
—This grant is provided through a reimbursement process

🌿 Pre/Post-Natal Grant 2026 is now open! 🌿

Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in families who are expecting or have children aged 0-5 may be eligible for up to $1,000 in reimbursement for essential baby items, including car seats, strollers, cribs, diapers, formula, clothing, and more. 💛

📍 Must be a Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Citizen living in the Yukon.

🌿 Cultural Connections Travel Grant 2026 🌿

Reconnect with culture, community, and the land.

The Cultural Connections Travel Grant 2026 provides financial support to help eligible Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in families travel to cultural camps and gatherings, giving youth the opportunity to strengthen their connection to their Traditional Territory, culture, and community.

Who can apply?
✔️ Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Citizens
✔️ Youth ages 0–18 (Parents/Guardians may apply on behalf of their child)
✔️ Living outside Traditional Territory
✔️ Living in the Yukon

Eligible activities include:
🐟 First Fish
🏕️ Culture Camps
🌼 Moosehide Gathering
🫎 First Hunt
