Wow, it's a really foggy morning here today...the video does not do it justice, lol!
The leaves on certain trees have just started to yellow and fall (I have certain ones that I look at over the years as markers) and without looking at the old farm books, does seem a wee tad early.
It is 12c here this morning, but it definitely feels colder.
Never mind gorillas in the mist, here is Akeboo in the mist, lol!

Bahahaha...well, the partial eclipse was a no go here, lol!
Sun was up and shining at 7am, then a load of cloud came over by 8am and basically stayed there until the partial eclipse was over around 10.30am....then the clear blue decided to put in an appearance at 10.47 am!
Hope some of you guys out there got to see it!

And a very happy birthday to Akela and all of her siblings on their first birthday! (Her mum was in labour for ages, so some may have had their birthday yesterday, or it could be a two day birthday bash!).
Here are some pics of her growing up...hard to imagine she was the same size as Pogo when we first got her!

Saw this yesterday, on my currant (ta, Arne!! lol) bush...very pretty, but can munch its way through a lot from what I have read. I believe it's a Tussock moth caterpillar? Which type though...does anyone know?

This stuff is brilliant...cut down on the plastic crap wrap loads since getting this. Got a huge sheet from our fab store (Max's...holy, can't go into that shop without buying something, lol!) it's a wax sheet that replaces the plastic...first try was, "yep, doesn't work as well as the hype I have seen" but keep using it...it's so stiff first off, but just becomes better with use...fab for my bedtime raw onion sarnies, keeping salads fresh and fly free..why isn't everyone using this, quick rinse and good to go again!
