It has been just over a week since Gold Show 2026, and on behalf of the Dawson City Chamber of Commerce Board, we want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s event possible.
In the days following the show, our community experienced the heartbreaking loss of the Westminster Hotel. That loss has been deeply felt across Dawson, and it understandably shifted our attention in the days that followed. The Pit was more than a building. It was part of the fabric of this town.
At the same time, we do not want to let the incredible effort, generosity, and community spirit behind this year’s Gold Show go unrecognized.
To our sponsors, thank you for your continued investment in this event and in Dawson City. Your support helped us celebrate 40 years of the Gold Show in a meaningful way.
To our volunteers, thank you for showing up, lending your time, solving problems, welcoming people, and helping bring the event to life.
To our exhibitors and guests, thank you for making the trip to Dawson and being part of this milestone year. We will be connecting with you shortly to hear about your experience at Gold Show 2026.
And to our local businesses, thank you for graciously welcoming more than 250 exhibitors and guests into the community. You showed off that awesome Dawson hospitality that keeps folks coming back.
As the DCCC Board, we know that Gold Show has always been about more than mining, trade, and business. It is about connection, partnership, and the strength of this community. This year, that feels especially important.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in Gold Show 2026, and thank you to Dawson for continuing to show up for one another through it all.
