šŸ“£ Reminder to Tahltan members: The application deadline for the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project IBA $10,000 payment is October 31, 2026.

Eligible adults ages 19ā€“64 who have not yet applied must submit their application and required supporting documents by the deadline. Applications are also required for eligible deceased membersā€™ estates.

Eligible Elders and youth do not need to apply. Their payments are processed automatically, with youth payments held in trust.

Today we honour the survivors of residential schools and the children who never came home. We acknowledge all who carry the impact and celebrate their strength and resilience.

As a Tahltan organization, reconciliation is reflected in how we care for one another, uphold our responsibilities, and carry our values into our workplaces and communities. In that same spirit, we also want to acknowledge the Moose Hide Campaign and its important call to end violence against women and children. The campaign reminds us that creating safe, respectful communities is a shared responsibility and that each of us has a role in standing against violence and supporting healthy relationships.

We encourage everyone to use this time in ways that are meaningful to them, through ceremony, time on the land, learning, reflection, gathering with family and community, and simply making space to remember and honour.

Dzenēs hotiā€™e. Kianna Quigley Å«shye. I am tseskā€™iye clan and I come from the Dekhāmā family. My mother is Lisa Jackson and my father is Dustin Quigley. My grandmother is Ann Jackson and my grandfather is Ivan Jr Quock.

I have been very passionate about learning the Tāłtān language. Everyday I have been learning a new word. Not only for myself, but for my son Stenson. It is important to pass on the language to our youth and Iā€™m very happy to be starting this journey with the Language Nest. To help myself learn more and surround myself around the experts. Help anyone that would like to learn as well and to show that anyone can do it when you put the work in! I am very excited about this opportunity with TCG, as the Language Nest Supporter:)
