Mountain View County’s Roadside Vegetation Management Program🌱

This includes the application of herbicides to control the spread of regulated w**ds and small brush. County procedure is to respect a no spray buffer of 30 metres around driveways, gardens, and wetlands.

Landowners may request that no herbicides be applied to the ditches adjacent to their property through a No Spray Request. In doing so, landowners must agree to take full responsibility for w**d and brush control in the ditches that border their property.

Mountain View County is monitoring weather conditions and water levels throughout the region as significant rainfall is expected over the coming days.

Residents are encouraged to use caution around waterways, watch for pooling water on roadways, avoid low-lying areas where water may accumulate, and never drive through flooded sections of road. Conditions can change quickly during periods of sustained rainfall.

Please continue to monitor weather forecasts and official advisories, and report any concerns related to County roads or infrastructure via: https://mountainviewcounty.com/p/report-a-problem
