Veronica and I would like to express our deepest condolences to the Cuggy family. We are presently out of the country and are saddened with the news of former Councillor Glen Cuggy's death.
May his soul rest in Peace.

July 20, 1946 – December 25, 2025

It is with sadness that I share the news of the passing of former Councillor Glen Edward Cuggy, who served our community from 1985 to 1994. Although I did not serve alongside him, we thank him for his time in office and the impact he had during his years of service.

On behalf of the residents of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, I extend my condolences to his family, friends, and all those who were affected by his passing. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.



C'est avec tristesse que je vous annonce le décès de l'ex-conseiller Glenn Edward Cuggy, qui a servi notre communauté de 1985 à 1994. Bien que je n’aie pas servi à ses côtés, nous reconnaissons son rôle actif dans la communauté pendant son mandat.

Au nom des résidents de la ville de Dollard-des-Ormeaux, j'adresse mes plus sincères condoléances à sa famille, à ses amis et à toutes les personnes touchées par sa disparition. Nos pensées les accompagnent en ce moment difficile.

As your district representative, I will:

Continue to stabilize your taxes, ensuring minimal or no increases.

Continue to prioritize the safety of our children and the community at large by implementing measures such as mobile speed traps and increased police and municipal patrol presence.

Continue to be a strong advocate for the environment, and to implement essential measures to promote sustainable living, for example planting of more trees and expanding the recycling and composting programs, among others.

Continue to invest in infrastructure and the maintenance of our roads. Push to build a sidewalk on Somerset street.

Continue to support Westminster Park and its splash pad, while introducing new initiatives and programming for all of our residents, across all age groups.

Maintain the highest standard of snow removal and garbage collection.

Continue creating and expanding services to promote active living and enhance the quality of life of seniors.

Ensure accessibility to the new REM stations.

Continue to advocate for a synchronized traffic light system on St-Jean Blvd. to reduce traffic congestion.

Continue to work with and support initiatives of Wilder Penfield School.

Errol Johnson’s work to promote economic growth and his commitment to the community have been invaluable, garnering him special recognition from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for his contribution to the economic development of Quebec. As part of his ongoing dedication to community, he founded and is the president of the West Island Blues Festival, a non-profit organization which has thus far donated over $250,000 to local charities.

Errol Johnson is a businessman who has lived in District 2 for over 40 years, where he has served as both City Councillor and Deputy Mayor. He is married to Judge Veronica Johnson with whom he has 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren. During his professional career as a financial security advisor with Sun Life, Errol held several advisory roles: he was a former member of the board of directors of Via Rail Canada where he sat on the human resources and finance committees and he served as an advisor to the president of the Treasury Board of Canada.
