Someone left a hoodie here by the computers. If it is your hoodie, please come take it. Also why is it just left by the computers when the coat rack is right behind the computer chair? Why did you not use the coat rack? Why would you sow such chaos by not putting it on the coat rack?

Don't forget that next week is the Castlevania Challenge! Prove your skills and win a three-in-one collection of classic monster literature, chocolate ghosts and bleeding candles!

If you still have a registration form that you haven't returned yet, be sure to bring it back before the 15th!

Halloween is just around the corner and The Castlevania Challenge is on at The Donalda Library, October 15th!

Register at the library to play the classic 1989 game "Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse" (Rated E For Everyone)! The player who makes it the farthest into Dracula's castle within a 1-hour time limit will be crowned the winner! With many branching paths to the castle and side characters to join you, no two players will have exactly the same adventure!

Unlike the contest offered by the publisher in 1989 when the game came out, we will NOT be offering free trips to communist countries nor present-day Romania.

However, the winner will enjoy: *A three-in-one collection of classic monster literature (Dracula/Frankenstein/Jekyll & Hyde), 18 chocolate ghosts to snack on while reading these classics to the light of 6 "Vampire Tears" "bleeding" gothic taper candles!

Contest is open to all ages, but recommended ages 10+. Register at the library as spots in this program are limited!

*An alternative, optional grand prize of illustrated, abridged versions of Dracula and Frankenstein aimed at young readers is also available.

The ever-popular "Mysterium" returns Mondays all October long (save for Thanksgiving) at the Donalda Library!

Fans of "Clue" will love this cooperative mystery game set in the early 20th Century. One player takes the silent role of the ghost who haunts Warick manor and tries to guide the mediums (the players) to the correct location, killer and weapon by presenting "visions" in the form of surrealist art cards. Work together with your skills for abstract thought to decipher the ghost's intent, but make haste!

Should you fail to solve the mystery within the time limit, the ghost will vanish — trapped between this world and the next until next Halloween!
