IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION

As we ease back into the new school year, please remember that our school parking lots are strictly reserved for staff members. We ask that parents and guardians do not use these lots for drop-off, for two important reasons:

Staff Parking Needs: Staff members have designated spots so they can park promptly and be ready in their classrooms on time. When a staff spot is taken, teachers, EAs, and other staff members are delayed, which impacts our students' morning routine and instructional time.

Student Safety & Traffic Flow: Parking lots are busy and unpredictable during arrival times. Vehicles reversing create a major safety hazard for students walking to the building and significantly slow down the flow of traffic for everyone trying to drop off and get to work.

We understand that parking around the school is not ideal, but we strongly encourage families to arrive a few minutes early, park safely on a nearby side street, and use the walking paths to reach the school.

We recognize that at the end of the day, some of our staff have already left and there are more spots available in the lower lot. You are welcome to use these spots at dismissal/end of the day pick up, but we kindly request that you arrive before the bell (3:13) and reverse into each spot so that when it is time to go, you can pull forward and the traffic flow can continue smoothly!

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our traffic moving, our staff on schedule, and our students safe!

First day of school, field trips, track and field day, Halloween parades, and classroom celebrations are packed with photo-worthy moments. We kindly remind all families of our shared commitment to student privacy under Alberta's Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) and Access to Information Act (ATIA).

At school, please ensure that photos and videos taken are focused exclusively on your own child. While capturing family memories is a wonderful part of school life, posting images or videos that feature other identifiable students online can unintentionally compromise their privacy.

We've got school supplies for pick up for anyone that ordered! Please stop into the gym anytime before 3 today.
