Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming St. Anthony’s Kindergarten class to our fire hall! 🚒🔥

The students learned all about fire safety, what firefighters do, and how to stay safe in an emergency. Their excitement, curiosity, and great questions made for a fantastic visit!

A special thank you goes out to our dedicated volunteer members. Community events and educational tours like these would not be possible without the time, effort, and commitment they generously give. Their passion for serving our community extends far beyond emergency response, helping educate and inspire the next generation.

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming roughly 46 children from ECDC to our fire hall for a tour, and we loved every minute of it! 🚒😊

Community tours like these are so important. They give children the opportunity to learn about fire safety in a fun and interactive way while also helping them become familiar and comfortable with firefighters and emergency services.

Teaching fire safety at a young age can make a lifelong impact, and we are proud to play a part in helping keep our community safe. Thank you to all the students and staff from ECDC for spending time with us this week. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! 🚒🚒

This weekend, our new recruits took part in an intensive Recruit Training Weekend focused on building the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to respond to incidents safely and effectively. From hands-on scenarios to teamwork and practical training, these members showed dedication, determination, and a strong commitment to serving our community.

We are also very pleased to welcome these successful candidates to our team and look forward to seeing them continue to grow within our department.

A huge thank you goes out to our officers and instructors for their hard work, guidance, and dedication throughout the weekend. Programs like this would not be possible without the countless hours they put in mentoring and preparing the next generation of firefighters.

Thank you to everyone involved for making this weekend such a success!

The Man Van campaign was a huge success for the second year in a row!

This year, 32 individuals were tested through the Man Van program, with 4 elevated results identified. Early detection saves lives, and these screenings are an important reminder of how valuable preventative healthcare can be.

The Man Van is a mobile men’s health clinic focused on prostate cancer screening and awareness. By bringing these services directly to our community, the program helps make testing more accessible and encourages men to take charge of their health.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters who helped make this program possible and allowed the Man Van to come to our community. Your support plays a vital role in helping provide access to these important health services close to home.

Vermillion Energy
In Play Oil
Ricochet Oil Corp
Whitecap Resources Inc
Gran Tierra Energy
DV Pro Rodeo

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped spread awareness. Programs like the Man Van truly make a difference in our community and have the potential to save lives through early detection.
