Giant Water Fight reminder!

This Wednesday the Aquaplex will be hosting the annual Giant Water Fight, raising awareness for National Drowning Prevention Week.

You will not want to miss this exciting event! We hope to see you there!

What to Expect:
- Bring your water spraying devices and join the fun!
-Play water safety games and learn important drowning prevention tips.
- Water spraying devices must be emptied and rinsed in a bleach water solution before entering the change rooms.
- Fill your water spraying devices with pool water or water from the taps at the Aquaplex only.
- Water safety games will be held throughout the event, focusing on layers of protection for aquatic activities.
- Staff supervising the pools are not to be sprayed.

Only 1% of drownings occur in lifeguard supervised settings. Lifeguards are your ultimate poolside companions! Swim in supervised settings where professionals are on watch. If you have access to an unsupervised pool, swim with a buddy, maintain active supervision, and keep rescue equipment nearby.
