Yesterday was a truly special day for our community as we welcomed home Carter Armstrong after his incredible journey running from Vancouver to Dryden in support of men’s mental health. πŸ’™πŸ’š

What began as a deeply personal goal has grown into something much bigger β€” sparking conversations, building connection, and raising awareness for mental health across the country. We are so proud to see a local member of our community making such a meaningful impact.

CLDSL was thrilled to be part of this celebration alongside so many dedicated community partners, including the Canadian Mental Health Association, Dryden Native Friendship Centre, Dryden Lions Club, Dryden Fibre, and others. Our team enjoyed connecting with families at our booth, sharing swag, handing out medals, and offering face painting for children as we celebrated together.

The energy, support, and sense of community yesterday were truly inspiring.

Carter’s journey continues as he sets his sights on reaching the East Coast β€” continuing to raise awareness and support for mental health along the way. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

πŸ‘‰ If you are able, we encourage you to support this important cause and donate to mental health initiatives. Let’s keep the momentum going β€” because mental health matters.
