☀ We’re excited to kick off our 3-Day Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Training!

This week, Community Living Dryden Sioux Lookout is proud to welcome participants from a variety of sectors, along with facilitator Brian Bennett, for an engaging and informative training focused on supporting individuals and groups impacted by crisis and critical incidents.

Over the next three days, participants will explore evidence-based approaches to crisis intervention, strengthen their skills in emotional and psychological first aid, and earn internationally recognized ICISF certifications.

We look forward to a week of learning, collaboration, and professional growth. 💙

As we continue celebrating Direct Support Professionals Week, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the teams at Dryden Collision Centre and Dryden GM for stopping by today with coffee and donuts for our staff. 🍩💚☕️

Their thoughtful gesture is a wonderful reminder of the strong community connections that help make our work possible. Community partnerships play an important role in building inclusive, welcoming communities where everyone belongs, and we are grateful for the support shown to our organization and our team.

As we continue celebrating Direct Support Professionals Week, we want to recognize and thank the incredible DSPs who make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support every day.

Through their compassion, dedication, and commitment to inclusion, DSPs help people build skills, pursue their goals, strengthen relationships, and live meaningful lives in their communities.

Today, we were pleased to share cookies from Kaija's Bakeshop in Dryden and Bobbi-Lynn Bakes in Sioux Lookout, as a small token of our appreciation for all that our Direct Support Professionals do.

As the Ice Dogs kick off their Home Opener this Saturday, September 19, we encourage everyone to come out and show their support as they take on the Red Lake Miners at Dryden Memorial Arena. Puck drop is at 7:30 PM!
