Our Nation’s 150th Treaty Day was one for the books.

The 2026 gathering saw one of the largest turnouts of community members we’ve had in years.

Treaty Day was a success because of the hard work and collaboration of our departments and staff, with everyone coming together and taking on their part in making the day happen.

From Grand Entry to King of the North, it was a great day of visiting, commemorating, and seeing our families come together as one Nation.

A special shoutout to BOCN member Curtis Cameron Photography for capturing these moments and helping us remember such a special day. You continue to shine a positive light on First Nations people and communities, and your work is truly appreciated.
