Duck Lake Fire Department Duck Lake Fire Department provides fire suppression to the town of Duck Lake and surrounding area. We train on every second Wednesday evening year round.

Duck Lake Fire Department currently has 11 volunteer personnel who provide fire suppression to the Town of Duck Lake and the surrounding rural areas. It is also our goal to provide public education on fire safety

This past Sunday, volunteers from the DLFD ran a bar at a local wedding held at Neil and Stephanie Forseille's farm and accepted a generous donation of $1000!

Thankyou to the Forseille family, Rebecca and Kevin Minto, and to all the lovely guests! The DLFD was also given $360 in tips!

Yesterday, the RM of Duck Lake held a Volunteer Appreciation BBQ at the Regional Interpretive Centre

A Wildfire Appreciation Certificate was presented to the DLFD, MacDowall FD, Rosthern FD, to the local farmers and ranchers who hauled water and ran heavy equipment, and to all others who assisted in whatever way they could during the Lobstick Fire. We are also grateful to all the folks that brought out meals at that time.

Thank-you to the RM of Duck Lake for organizing this event, and thank-you to all the local businesses for sponsoring it!!
