Taché Community Centre Update

Claude Simard Metal Systems have installed portions of the exterior cladding, and trims. Normandeau roofing have completed around 90% of their roofing scope. Cast In Place Concrete have poured the Library and Activity Center slabs. Cast In Place are currently working with Prairie HVAC to prep and form the Arena apron slab and start prepping the arena rink slab. Avalon Drywall have installed steel studs on the 2nd floor and have installed drywall on one side of some of the walls on the 2nd floor. Avalon has started erecting the interior steel studs in the library and have installed insulation and vapour barrier around the activity center and Library. Simmons Masonry have been continuously laying blocks under the hollow core bleachers and working in the changerooms. Penn-Lite have been installing ductwork in the changerooms and corridors. Penn-Lite Plumbing have been working on rough-ins for the changerooms, rainwater leaders, vent stacks, and have 90% of in-slab plumbing completed. Ambrosie have been working on exterior lighting, library rough-ins and 2nd floor rough ins. ABC Fire and Safety have been installing sprinkler lines in the corridor hallways and in the activity center.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

Please be advised that as of today, Monday July 6th, 2026, Mun 27E between PR 207 and Mun 51N will be closed to all traffic for two culvert failure replacements. We anticipate this roadway to remain closed until Friday July 10th, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please be advised that TC Energy will be conducting routine pipeline maintenance on Tuesday, July 15, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Although the work is not taking place within the RM, residents may hear loud noise during this time.

As part of the maintenance, TC Energy will perform a pipeline blowdown, a planned and controlled process that safely releases natural gas from a section of the pipeline so maintenance can be completed. During the blowdown, residents may hear a loud roaring sound, similar to an airplane engine. The noise is expected to last approximately one hour.

This is a routine maintenance procedure that helps ensure the continued safe operation and integrity of the pipeline system. TC Energy will use noise-reduction measures wherever possible.

If you hear loud noise during this time, there is no cause for alarm.
