Advance voting will be open tomorrow, Wednesday October 21, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Rural Municipality of TACHÉ Office, 28007 MUN 52N, Dufresne (corner of Hwy No 1 & PR No 206).

APPLICATION TO VOTE BY SEALED ENVELOPE

A voter who is unable to go in person to the voting place or vote in advance, may apply in person, in writing, or by email to the senior election official at [email protected] or 204-481-5824.

A voter may apply between September 30, 2026, and October 23, 2026.

* A voter applying by mail or email will receive a sealed envelope ballot package by regular post, or by making alternative arrangements with the senior election official.

Attention Landmark Residents!

A grader is scheduled to be in town tomorrow, Tuesday October 20th and Wednesday October 21st, to complete gravel road maintenance.

Please ensure vehicles are not parked on the roadways during this time and please be cautious when approaching the equipment.

The Rural Municipality of Taché will be holding a public auction for properties with outstanding tax arrears.

28007 Municipal Road 52N, Dufresne, MB

Five properties are scheduled to be offered for sale.

Please refer to the official Notice of Public Auction for the complete list of properties, arrears and costs, and the terms and conditions of the sale.

**Important:** Property owners may prevent their property from being offered for sale by paying all outstanding tax arrears and applicable costs in full before the auction begins.

New Ward Boundaries in Effect for Election Voting

The Rural Municipality of Taché would like to remind residents that new ward boundaries are now in effect for the upcoming election.

These updated ward boundaries will determine which ward residents vote in during the election.

Please note: The new ward boundaries will not affect garbage and recycling collection schedules for the remainder of 2026. Existing garbage and recycling collection schedules will remain in place. Any changes to collection schedules resulting from the new ward boundaries will take effect in 2027.

⚠️ WATER MAIN FLUSHING – LORETTE ⚠️

The RM of Taché will be conducting water main flushing in Lorette beginning the week of October 12 and continuing through October 23, 2026.

Residents may experience discoloured water, reduced water pressure, or temporary disruptions in service during this work. Discoloured water resulting from flushing is safe to drink, but residents should run the cold water tap until the water runs clear.

Please avoid doing laundry, especially white or light-coloured laundry, during the flushing period.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
