Did you know that Abbeyfield House is raising money for a new roof? Our roof will need replacing in the next 3 to 5 years so we have been busy fundraising and applying for grants. Well another successful fundraiser is in the books and we are that much closer to replacing our old roof. There are so many people to thank for helping with this event. To all of our volunteers: staff, neighbours, friends, family members and board members, thank you so much for all of your hard work. To the band for once again turning a yard sale into a really, fun event. To our sponsors: Thrifty Foods, , , , , , and everyone else who donated items for our sale. Most of all, we want to thank all of the people who came to our fundraiser and made donations big and small.
