🍎🍯 Today is the last day to give.

As Rosh Hashanah approaches, we're making one final call to help ensure families in our community can welcome the New Year with a festive table, cherished traditions, and dignity.

Each Rosh Hashanah holiday basket costs $216, but you don't need to fund an entire basket to make an impact. Every dollar makes a difference.

Your contribution is an act of chesed—loving kindness—and a reminder to our neighbours that they are supported by a community that cares.

đź’™ Sponsor a basket.
🍯 Give what you can.
📣 Share our campaign.

Donations close today, August 31.

Help us make the New Year sweeter for families in our community.

Give Joy. Share Tradition.

🎓 New place? Start with The Giving Room.

Moving into your first dorm, apartment, or student house is exciting—but stocking a kitchen from scratch can add up quickly.

Before you start your back-to-school shopping, Jewish post-secondary students are invited to check out The Giving Room at Hamilton Jewish Family Services.

The Giving Room has small household goods, to help students get settled into their new space.

It might be one less thing you need to cross off your back-to-school shopping list. đź’™

📣 Parents, grandparents, friends and community members: help us spread the word by sharing this with a Jewish student heading to post-secondary school this fall.

Visit the HJFS website to learn more about The Giving Room.

Wishing you and your family a restful Shabbat.

🍎 Help us set the table for a sweet New Year.

Rosh Hashanah is approaching, and we're asking our community to come together so that families facing financial challenges don't have to choose between everyday necessities and celebrating the holiday.

There are many ways you can help:

🍯 Sponsor a complete holiday basket for $216
💙 Contribute any amount—every dollar makes a difference
📣 Share our campaign and encourage others to participate

Every contribution is an act of chesed (loving kindness) that helps a neighbour celebrate Rosh Hashanah with tradition, dignity, and joy.

Together, we can make sure our community enters the New Year knowing that no one celebrates alone.

The High Holidays invite us to reflect on where we’ve been, where we’re going, and what we want to carry with us into the year ahead.

🍯 A Rosh Hashanah basket is about more than a holiday meal.

It's about being able to gather around a festive table.

It's about continuing traditions that have been passed from generation to generation.

It's about welcoming the New Year with dignity, hope, and a sense of belonging.

Through Hamilton Jewish Family Services' Rosh Hashanah Campaign, your generosity helps provide traditional holiday foods to local families who need some extra support this season.

$216 provides a complete holiday basket, but a gift of any amount brings us closer to ensuring everyone in our community can celebrate.

When we care for one another, we strengthen our entire community. đź’™
