𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝗣𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀

Elgin County will be conducting pesticide spraying along select rural roadsides from 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰 to 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, weather permitting, to manage invasive Phragmites.

Pesticide use is being carried out under the Public Works Exception to Ontario's Cosmetic Pesticides Ban for the promotion of public health and safety.

2026 Municipal Election

When?
Anytime from 9:00am Monday, October 19th until 8:00pm Monday, October 26th.

Where?
All voting can be done online or over the phone.

How?
With a landline, cell phone or internet connected device and your Voter Information Letter.

As of August 13, additions and changes to the Voters’ List must now be completed in person at the Municipal Office.

You can still visit https://vreg.registertovoteon.ca/en/search/disclaimer throughout the election period to check if you're on the Voters’ List. However, you can no longer add your name or make changes online.

Please bring identification showing both your name and home address. Acceptable ID includes a driver's licence, Ontario Photo Card, bank or credit card statement, utility bill, cheque stub and more.
