📚 The Eatonia Library is encouraging children to keep reading while school is out through its annual Dive into Reading Summer Reading Challenge.

Participants can complete fun reading activities, colour in their challenge sheet and earn prizes, all while building strong reading habits over the summer.

Our watercolor paint evening was a success! Thank-you so much to everyone who came out to enjoy a beautiful evening of connection, painting, and trying something new. It was wonderful to see all of your paintings evolve.

A special thank-you to those who shared their knowledge and techniques with the group. I also want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped set tables up, and the wonderful ladies who helped clean up and take the tables down. Your help was very much appreciated!

There is a children’s picture book I love to read called HAVE YOU FILLED A BUCKET TODAY? By Carol McCloud. It highlights how small, meaningful actions fill our spirts. Last night absolutely filled my cup, and I truly hope I was able to tip my cup and fill yours, too!

As of tomorrow the Eatonia Library is going to be open an extra 3 hours a week.

Thursdays 9:00am-3:30 pm.

So just earlier on Thursdays.

Well tonight is the night ladies!
The wind is going to be in our favour.
We have pictures for you to choose from to paint, I have a few books to look through for ideas and some knowledge. But we have a wonderful lady who is going to share some info with us all. It’s mostly just an excuse to laugh and spend some time with other ladies from this beautiful community.

What do you need?
You ✔️
What you want to drink, if it’s not water.✔️
And a great attitude. 😜 if you paint like me. ✔️

No cost, so chair just you.

It’s Here!!! Watercolor paint night tomorrow Wednesday July 8th.

It is an adult evening, so no one has to watch what they say! 😜

Please bring a thermacell if you have one, bug spray as well.

Water will be supplied, so if you would like something different bring it.
