IIMAN Associates, also known as IIMAN Foundation, is a registered non-profit organization in Somalia and in Canada. We are associated partners of Somali women organizations committed to improve the lives and livelihoods of Somali women and girls.

We are deeply committed to enable Somali women and girls in achieving their potential through economic empowerment, while removing barriers that hinders them to succeed.

IMAN Associates welcomes the World Bank's commitment to provide $100 Million additional funding to support Somali households affected by flooding and food insecurity. Flooding and climate change disproportionally affect women. Over 90% of displaced people are women and their children, but less than 10% of international development and humanitarian projects benefit women. We are seeking accountability and fairness in aid distribution. We are asking the World Bank to ensure equitable allocation of the fund, by addressing the specific needs women and vulnerable populations. IIMAN Associates encourages more gender-responsive approaches within development and humanitarian projects could help mitigate the disparities faced by women in Somalia.

Iiman Associates was saddened by the loss of great women, politician and mother, honorable Khadija Mohamed Diriye. She dedicated her live to fight for Somali women and girls rights. Our heart is with her family and those who loved for her work. Rest in peace dear sister and May Allaah reward you to Jannah. We love you and conitinue your legacy.

Dear sisters and friends- welcome to IIMAN Associates, also know as IIMAN Foundation. It is an international non-profit organization registered in Somalia and in Canada. We are committed to empower Somali women and girls and change the conditions we are in. One in 12 of us is at risk to die for maternity, 90% of refugees and displaced people are women and children, we are 90% of street beggars, and less than 26% of us can read and write.

Never in our history, today, we are facing mounting challenges of poverty, hunger, insecurity, poor health, gender-based violence, climate change, evictions and mass exodus from our families and communities. All these factors have reduced our ability to live and raise our families with dignity and respect. I will share more about our history, vision and what we do. Please stay tune.
