🎉 Camp 2026 has come to an end! 🇮🇹❤️

What an incredible week it has been at the Ital Canadian Seniors Association! Today, we wrapped up our final day by celebrating our Italian heritage with a delicious pizza lunch, fun activities, and plenty of time together in the parking lot, where laughter, games, and unforgettable memories filled the day.

From exciting field trips to crafts, delicious meals, new friendships, and countless smiles, this week has truly been one to remember. Thank you to all of our amazing campers, volunteers, staff, and everyone who helped make Camp 2026 such a wonderful success.

We hope each of you takes home lasting memories and new friendships that will be treasured for years to come. Have a safe and wonderful summer, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another amazing adventure next year!

Day 4 of Camp 2026 was another unforgettable adventure for the children at the Ital Canadian Seniors Association! Today’s field trip took everyone to the Broadmoor Spray Park in Sherwood Park, where the kids spent the afternoon laughing, splashing, and making wonderful summer memories with their friends.

Before heading out, everyone enjoyed a delicious homemade lunch of baked pasta, Caesar salad, and garlic toast, giving them plenty of energy for an exciting afternoon of fun.

As you can see from the smiles in the photos, the children are having an amazing time, and each day has brought new adventures, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t believe tomorrow is already the final day of Camp 2026! We hope it will be just as special and memorable as the incredible camp experiences we’ve shared together over the years. Here’s to one more fantastic day of fun!

Camp 2026 – Day 3 Recap! 🦁🦒🐒

What an incredible Day 3 at the Ital Canadian Seniors Camp 2026! Today the children enjoyed an exciting field trip to the Edmonton Valley Zoo, where they explored the many amazing animals, learned fun facts about wildlife, and shared lots of laughter with their friends. After touring the zoo, everyone gathered for a picnic lunch in the beautiful park, making it the perfect day to relax, play, and enjoy the outdoors together.

The smiles on the children’s faces said it all—they are having an absolute blast and creating memories that will last a lifetime! A heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing volunteers and staff who help make experiences like this possible. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Day 2 of Camp was another fantastic day filled with fun, laughter, and great memories! Our campers enjoyed an exciting outing to Jackie Parker Spray Park, where they had an amazing time cooling off, playing in the water, and making new friends. It was a beautiful park, and the day couldn’t have gone better.
We also celebrated the birthday of one of our campers, Serafina, with delicious cupcakes, making the day even more special for everyone. Breakfast was a big hit, featuring scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast, and juice to give everyone plenty of energy for the day’s adventures. At lunchtime, the campers enjoyed building their own sandwiches, which was both fun and delicious. It was a wonderful day from start to finish, and we look forward to creating even more great memories throughout the rest of camp!

What a fun and exciting first day of Kids Camp 2026 at the Ital Canadian Seniors Association! We were thrilled to welcome members of the Edmonton Police Service and their incredible Police Service Dog team for a special presentation. The children were fascinated as they learned about the important role police dogs play in helping keep our community safe and secure. From answering questions to demonstrating how the canine works alongside officers, the presentation was both educational and engaging. The campers were especially excited to meet the dog up close and see firsthand the skills and training involved. A big thank you to the Edmonton Police Service for taking the time to visit and make our first day of camp such a memorable experience for all the children. 🐕👮‍♂️🎉

The Ital Canadian Seniors Association is proud to celebrate its 40th Anniversary on Sunday, September 20. Soppressata Competition Success!

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and supported our Soppressata Competition at the Ital Canadian Seniors Centre. The evening was a tremendous success, filled with great food, friendship, and community spirit. A special thank you goes out to all the participants who generously volunteered to bring their homemade soppressata for judging. Your dedication to preserving and sharing this cherished Italian tradition made the event truly memorable.
