We love being able to explore messy art and play outdoors! Outdoor experiences allow children to use natural materials in creative ways, such as making mud paint and using grass, dandelions, and other items found in nature to create colours and textures. These hands-on experiences encourage creativity, sensory exploration, and a deeper connection with the natural world while making learning fun and meaningful. 🌿🎨☀️

Last week, the children had the exciting opportunity to watch the educators release the butterflies into the wild. This was a wonderful learning experience, as the children were able to observe and explore the butterfly life cycle from larva to chrysalis and finally to butterfly. Witnessing this transformation firsthand helped deepen their understanding of nature, growth, and change while sparking curiosity and wonder about the world around them. 🦋
