Did you know? Edmonton has over 60 areas where your dog can run and play without having you on the other end of the leash. Our friends who look after the off-leash parks have created Barks and Recreation - a 5 part reality series. that explores what the off-leash parks have to offer.

A friendly reminder before you head off for your nearest off-leash park make sure you and your pet are both prepared:

🐶Licence your dog
🐶For the safety of your dog and others, make sure your dog is up-to-date on their vaccinations and deworming
🐶Some dogs rae not ready for the excitement of off-leash areas. Make sure you know when your dog is becoming uncomfortable, overwhelmed or overexcited and that they have good recall
🐶Make sure you know the boundaries of the off-leash area. Your dog must stay on-leash until after they have entered the off-leash space and upon exiting. Failure to do so may result in a fine.

Hello pet lovers! It's a scorcher out there and these temperatures are set to continue for the next few days. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

pools are a ton of fun for the whole family.
+𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 -brush your dog during shedding periods to get rid of some hair. A coat of fur can act as protection for your dog from UV damage and helps keep
some heat out.
