We’re thrilled to announce that the Reuse Centre will reopen tomorrow, August 5.

We extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Edmonton community for all the kind messages during our temporary closure. Your support meant the world to us as our team worked behind the scenes to recover from the recent floods.

Pet peeve #999:
Waiting in a long line when you don’t have to.

Many items are free to drop off at Eco Stations during regular business hours year-round.

Save Free Eco Station Weekends for items that usually cost a fee, such as:

🔌Appliances that use refrigerants (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, ice maker, etc.)
🛋️Chairs and sofas
🛏️ Mattresses and box springs
🚽Toilets
🌱Sod, soil and rocks

Before waiting in a long line, check if the disposal of your items is always free.

Visit edmonton.ca/EcoStations or check the WasteWise app.

Did you know July 15 was U.N. World Youth Skills Day? 🌍 It’s all about empowering the next generation with career skills, especially those needed for the “Green Transition”—like clean energy, conservation and the circular economy.

Young Edmontonians are already building these eco-friendly skills right here at the Reuse Centre! 🌱

With our Sustainable Fashion Week spring program, we're helping local youth turn sustainability into style. Check out these incredible garments designed by our 2026 program participants! 🧵✨
