As we mark the 30th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day, Edmonton Catholic Schools invites students and staff to take part in a 15-day Virtual Calendar that brings learning to life.
Each school day leading up to June 21 features a simple activity that offers a new opportunity to explore Indigenous perspectives, stories, and teachings as part of National Indigenous History Month.
Activities are designed to spark curiosity, encourage respectful learning, and support meaningful conversations about the diverse cultures and experiences of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples across Canada.
Want to view the calendar? Check it on our ECSD site here!
June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to learn about and honour the unique cultures, traditions, and experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, who have lived on this land since time immemorial and continue to shape Canada today.
