Daily and weekly outings. Daily education reports and assistance with dealing with Alberta education requirements. Special needs children welcomed. Experience with ADD/ADHD. Aspergers and all Austism Spectrum. Celiac disease. Special dietary requirements. Developmental and Speech delays. FASD. Children with lots of energy are very welcomed. I work out of my home and offer unlicensed childcare, as

such, no subsidies are available but I am able to keep my prices very low. This is important to me as I have been a single and low income parent for many years. We do lots and lots of educational activities and I can provide you with a daily activity account which includes which core and extracurricular school subjects were addressed. We have a strong unschooling focus which means that we provide lots of enriching experiences but never push or coerce children to learn, instead we rely on their innate abilities and interests to guide us. We have daily and weekly outings to many wonderful places in our community using our feet, busses and bicycles. There is never an extra charge for any field trips and all meals and snacks are always included. My older teens and young adult children assist me in keeping all of the children in my care happy, engaged and learning. The multi- age set up allows children to learn from one another and learn to socialize in the most natural way possible. Art and science based projects are attempted on most days of the week and frequent trips to the library keep our selection of reading material fresh and targeted to the specific interests of the children. Some screen time is used to supplement learning and socializing but it is kept to a minimum. Today Drake helped make chocolate chip pancakes. We also made apple spice and banana bread muffins. Drake helped measure, poured in and mixed ingredients. He also helped make paper turkeys with googly eyes with construction paper. We sang lots of spooky Halloween songs (still singing).
Drake played various games on ABC mouse.
