Caregiver burnout is real. If you’re feeling exhausted, irritable, anxious, struggling to sleep, or overwhelmed by responsibility, you’re not alone. Caring for others—whether aging parents, loved ones, or those in your community—is an act of love. However, it can also take a serious toll on your mental and emotional well-being.
Counselling provides caregivers with a safe space to manage burnout, reduce stress, and find ways to restore balance and resilience. But for many, cost can be a barrier to accessing the support they need.
Through our 54 the Future initiative, we’re building a community where healing and support are accessible to everyone. You can contribute in two impactful ways:
💛 $54 monthly pledge: Supports the vision of building a compassionate, connected community, ensuring that dignity and care are always within reach.
💛 $86 monthly Counselling Scholarship pledge: Directly covers the cost of delivering one subsidized hour of counselling each month. This fund ensures that someone in urgent need—someone who might otherwise be unable to afford care—can access healing and hope. Over 12 months, your $86 pledge equals $1,000 in life-changing support for those navigating crisis.
People who know the heart of Jewish Family Services and the Edmonton Healing Centre know that cost is never the final barrier for those in need. Your support is what makes this work possible—and what ensures no one gets left behind.
