At Alberta Film School , you're holding a camera on the first day. The school runs photography, video, and film programs out of the Orange Hub, and about 75% of the time is spent actually shooting and editing rather than sitting in a lecture. 🎥

🔹 Programs run two months, Monday to Friday, with day or evening classes
🔹 Students get placed on real shoots, matched to what they want to do — weddings, cars, studio portraits, or set work
🔹 There's a free Camera Basics class every Tuesday at 2 p.m., about 90 minutes on manual settings
🔹 Everyone finishes the program with a portfolio

The next intakes are September 21 and November 6, and you can book the free class on their website.
