Building healthier communities starts with creating spaces where mental health can be discussed openly, understood without judgment, and supported with compassion.

At AIWCC, we recognize that cultural beliefs, stigma, and limited access to information can create barriers to mental health awareness and support. Through education, professional guidance, and meaningful community conversations, we strive to break down these barriers and empower individuals to take charge of their mental well-being.

As part of this commitment, we hosted “Brighter Days Ahead: Understanding Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD),” an informative and engaging workshop facilitated by Hayden, Mental Health Therapist and Clinical Counsellor.

Participants explored how seasonal changes can affect mood, energy, sleep, and daily life, while gaining valuable insights into recognizing the signs of SAD, developing practical coping strategies, and knowing when and where to seek professional support.

A heartfelt thank you to Hayden for sharing his expertise and to everyone who participated in this meaningful conversation.
