๐ Alberta Culture Days 2026 may be over, but we have one more reason to celebrate!
Weโre very happy to share that our 2025 Alberta Culture Days event has been recognized through the Interpretation Canada Awards program.
Last yearโs event brought together local artists, organizations, and community members to explore the connections between art, culture, food, and identity. Visitors followed an ArtWalk through the museum, learned about local artists and the cultural meaning behind their work, created their own paintings reflecting what culture meant to them, and finished the day with a cultural potluck featuring dishes representing communities from across the Lac La Biche region.
This recognition belongs to everyone who helped make the event possible โ our staff, artists, partners, volunteers, and everyone who came out and took part.
Thank you to Interpretation Canada for this recognition, and thank you to our community for continuing to make the museum a place to create, connect, learn, and celebrate together.
