Grand Trunk High School students have been visiting with the residents at The Sunshine Place Lodge throughout the school year as part of the Legacy Links program. As a meaningful year-end project, each student and grandparent worked on painting a tile. Together these individual pieces formed a beautiful mural of the historic Evansburg train station which will now adorn Sunshine Place Lodge Courtyard.

A special thank you Madison Sharman, Yellowhead County Heritage Program Coordinator who designed the mural, and to Sunshine Place Lodge for hosting the Legacy Links program. This collaboration created lasting connections and a wonderful piece of community art that will be enjoyed for years to come.
