Grande Yellowhead Public School Division We are a public education jurisdiction dedicated to providing the best in learning for our students

GYPSD stretches from Jasper National Park, east to Evansburg and north to the Town of Grande Cache. The jurisdiction includes 17 schools, 5 Learning Connection locations, approx. 4,500 students and 600 staff members.

June is National Indigenous History Month.

It is a special time to celebrate and honour the achievements, histories and resilience of Indigenous Peoples who have lived here for generations.

People across Alberta are invited to participate in reconciliation by attending local Indigenous events, reading a book by a First Nations, Métis or Inuit writer or exploring the many vibrant expressions of Indigenous art and heritage across the province.
