Lake Art Works by Colleen Beanish
For the Love of Colour!
Colleen Beanish is a watercolour artist from Lake Clear and a retired educator whose work is inspired by a passion for colour, creativity, and the joy of artistic exploration.
Specializing in loose florals, abstracts, and mixed-media pieces, Colleen creates artwork in a variety of forms, including original paintings, greeting cards, and bookmarks. She enjoys experimenting with different styles and materials, with some of her newest creations featuring artwork on reclaimed barn board.
Over the years, Colleen has been honoured to create custom commissioned pieces, including wedding bouquet paintings, welcome baby cards, and large-scale floral works. Her artwork has also been featured as part of the Bonnechere Inspired Tour.
Painting serves as both a creative outlet and a mindful practice, bringing a sense of relaxation and connection that is reflected in each piece she creates.
