Have you seen the garden boxes on the West side of our building and wonder what they are? Well, let us tell you!

These six raised beds are the BUPL Community Gardens. You can "borrow" a bed for a season by signing-up at the front desk, agreeing to protocol, and following the code of conduct. These beds are not for public consumption, but managed by (you!) the borrower.

Please call or stop-in to read over the contract and sign-up! First come, first served.

You've maybe noticed plants growing along the wall beside these garden beds. This is our perennial garden bed, full of medicinal and edible plants that anyone can harvest. Rhubard is in full swing as we speak- so help yourself.

And hey, if you need some seeds, don't forget about our Seed Library, accessible even without a library card!
