Lakeshore Stampede Rodeo Club is a blast, but it is also our #1 way to raise vital funds for the community! 🤠🚜 Every ticket bought and volunteer hour served directly powers our ability to replace aging trucks and upgrade specialized equipment. We love helping hosting a legendary weekend, but we love serving you even better with the tools we need—and we truly couldn't do it without your incredible support! Teamwork makes the dream work! Yesterday, the Lakeshore Stampede Rodeo Club, Loreburn Volunteer Fire Department, Elbow Volunteer Fire Department, and our Line 19 Childcare Centre all joined forces for a massive setup day. Together, we tackled the facility setup, trimmed the grass, prepped the livestock areas, and started getting the arena dirt ready for peak performance!
We have just a few more days of final touches left before the gates open. Get ready, because the Lakeshore Stampede Canadian Cowboys Association Rodeo kicks off THIS Friday and Saturday!

This has become a group effort. Local ladies have donated their time and talent, others have given material and advice …we will be having a raffle for this lake diefenbaker blanket will all funds going to our local volunteer fire department. We will have it displayed in store starting this weekend

We are partnering up with Lakeshore Stampede Rodeo Club, along with Loreburn Volunteer Fire Department and Line 19 Childcare Centre. Come out Friday and Saturday for whole weekend of CCA rodeo, food, dance and good times. All in support of local organizations.

🏌️‍♂️ Keep Elbow Safe, Smooth, and Fun! 🏌️‍♀️
Cruising around the Village of Elbow in a golf cart is a fantastic way to enjoy our beautiful community. However, keeping our streets safe for families, pedestrians, and other drivers is a team effort!
Before you shift into drive, here is a quick refresher on Bylaw 5-2023 and SGI rules to keep your summer rides legal and safe:

* 🪪 License Required: Drivers must hold a valid driver’s license (minimum Class 7).
* 📝 Insured Rides: You must carry at least $200,000 in third-party liability insurance.
* 🌅 Daylight Only: Operation is strictly limited to 30 minutes before sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset. No night riding!
* 🛑 Street Smart: Stick to village roads under 50 km/h. Do not drive on provincial highways (crossings only!).
* ⚠️ Be Visible: A slow-moving vehicle sign must be clearly displayed on the back of your cart.
* 🛑 Drive Sober: Alcohol/drugs and golf carts do not mix. Impaired driving laws apply to carts just like cars.

Let's look out for one another and keep Elbow a great place to live and visit. Drive responsibly!

🇨🇦 Canada Day is HERE, Elbow! 🇨🇦
Join us on Main Street for the Elbow Canada Day Street Dance and Celebrations! Here is today's lineup:

* 🥞 Breakfast: Cooked up fresh by the 19ers Hockey Team!
* 🚲 bike parade starting at bethel church
* 🚚 Lunch: Food trucks on Main Street featuring Rodney Kretsch, Tony the Hotdog Guy, Harbor Golf Restaurant, and Alexis Long Refreshments.
* 🍻 Drinks: Cold refreshments served all day by the Elbow Volunteer Fire Department.
* 🐟 Supper: A classic community Fish Fry!
* 🎶 Entertainment: Live music this afternoon and evening for the big Street Dance.
* 🎆 Tonight: A spectacular Fireworks display to wrap up the night!
