Village of Elkhorn The Village of Elkhorn is pleased to welcome you to our page in an effort to enhance communication with the residents & visitors of Elkhorn.

Elkhorn is situated approximately 105 kms west of the City of Brandon and 290 kms from Winnipeg, on the Trans Canada Highway and also on the main line for the Canadian Pacific Railway. The community surrounding Elkhorn is well adapted to mixed farming, with a large volume of cattle and hogs being produced in the area. The Manitoba Automobile Museum located in Elkhorn has also become a major tourist attraction in the province. Visitors come from miles away to take a trip back in time.

Okay Elkhorn Residents! 2✌️ things:

1. PARK IS OPEN FOR USE BUT THE SPRAY PARK IS STILL NOT OPERATING.

2. We have all the chainsaw and tractor work done at the park. We've cleared the walkways and under the play structures and now we need your help! If anyone has time the next few evenings if you could take a rake and help clear all the little debris the kiddos of this community would very much appreciate it! There will be receptacles there for the debris. Thank you again to everyone for chipping in!

Elkhorn Storm Cleanup Continues

Community cleanup efforts will continue in Elkhorn.

Residents can assist by placing fallen branches in neat piles on their front lawns near the roadway for pickup. Please keep piles off the roadway and out of ditches.

ELKHORN STORM CLEANUP UPDATE
Public Works staff will be back in Elkhorn tomorrow to continue community cleanup and branch pickup efforts following Sunday evening’s storm.

Residents can help by placing fallen branches in a neat pile on their front lawn near the roadway, but please do not place branches directly on the road or in ditches.

Please keep branch piles clear of utility poles and parked vehicles to allow crews to safely and efficiently collect debris.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as cleanup continues. A big thank you to our Public Works staff, first responders, Manitoba Hydro crews, local businesses, and everyone who has been helping Elkhorn recover.

Please continue to watch our page for further storm response and cleanup updates.
