As the cold weather begins to arrive City Staff are beginning the process of shutting down some outdoor amenities for the Winter Season.

Today, Wednesday October 14th we will be closing all outdoor washrooms and outhouses for the Winter months. The washroom located at Dunlop Boat Launch will remain open until October 19th to accommodate this weekend's Geology Tours.

This Club is the soul of community. They are dedicated to maintaining more than 300km of useable trails in terrain that resists their best efforts. They are welcoming and hospitable and don't turn anyone away, always willing to share their experiences, their skills and their laughter.

The City of Elliot Lake is awfully thankful for their work. They dealt with an incredible amount of damage to their trail network last winter, and very much deserve the short break they get before a few of them change helmets and get to preparing the snowmobile trails.
