🏌️‍♂️⛳ Join us for a great day on the links while making a difference in our community! The Muskoka 500 Inc. Charity Golf Tournament takes place on July 26, 2026, at the beautiful Deerhurst Highlands. Proceeds from this event will support Perry Fire Department and Youth Unlimited Huntsville, helping both organizations continue their valuable work in our community. Gather your friends, enjoy a fantastic day of golf, food, and camaraderie, and help us support two great causes. We look forward to seeing you on the course! ⛳🚒❤️

(JUNE 8, 2026) NOTICE - FIRE RATING TO MODERATE.

The Perry Fire Department would like to advise residents that the Fire Danger Rating has changed to MODERATE.

Please continue to use caution when having campfires and outdoor burning.

If you are having a campfire, please ensure:
✅ A method of extinguishment (hose, water bucket, extinguisher, etc.) is readily available
✅ A shovel is kept nearby
✅ Fires are attended to at all times
✅ Fires are completely extinguished before leaving

🚫 Fireworks are NOT permitted at any time.

Please remember that daytime burning is prohibited from April 1 to October 31.

Conditions can change quickly depending on the weather and rainfall. Please burn responsibly and help keep our community safe.

Thank you for doing your part to prevent unwanted fires. 🚒🔥

Thanks to our Public Works Crew So-Ho-Mish Road is now open!

(June 6, 2026 3:00pm) Please be advised So-Ho-Mish Road is currently closed at Hwy 518 until further notice, due to washout. All traffic to detour through Sunset Pass Drive. Public Works is currently working on the issue.

⚾️ What a great evening on the diamond with the members of the Southeast Almaguin Fire Department - Perry, Sprucedale, Kearney, Burk’s Falls and Magnetawan. 🚒

There may have been a few missed catches, some questionable strike calls, and plenty of friendly competition, but most importantly there were lots of laughs and great camaraderie.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to play, cheer, and enjoy the game. It’s always great to get together outside of emergency calls and training to build the friendships and teamwork that make our fire service family so strong.

Bragging rights may be up for debate, but the fun was definitely a home run! ⚾ 🚒 🔥

Perry Fire Department was proud to attend the Grand Opening of Youth Unlimited in Emsdale on May 30! 🚒

Our firefighters were happy to be part of this special event and support an organization that provides valuable programs, mentorship, and opportunities for youth in our community.

Congratulations to Youth Unlimited on their grand opening. We wish you continued success and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will have in Emsdale and the surrounding area!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate this exciting addition to our community.

🚨Have You Checked Your Carbon Monoxide Alarm Lately?🚨

Carbon monoxide (CO) is known as the silent killer - it’s invisible, odourless, and deadly. The only way to detect it is with a working carbon monoxide alarm.

✅ Test your CO alarm monthly
✅ Replace batteries as needed (or when the low battery warning sounds)
✅ Check the expiry date - alarms don’t last forever!
✅ Make sure you have a CO alarm outside sleeping areas and on every level of your home

If your CO alarm sounds, get outside immediately and call 9-1-1 from a safe location.
