Cucumbers. Cherry Tomatoes. And Squash, oh my!

Did you know that there are edible planters in the Breezeway and in Cenotaph Park?

Local artist, Heather Edwards designed these incredible signs that not only invite you to enjoy a nibble, but also double as a community beautification project, bringing these planters to life.

Starting June 12, the new pool will be operational and offering the regular schedule of public swims, swimming lessons, and aquatic programming. On this day, in addition to aquatic programming and school field trips, there will be a toonie swim from 2:45pm to 3:45pm and a public swim from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 8:30am until approximately 2:00pm, there will be a localized road closure (“no thru traffic”) so that Public Works can repair a water service in the 700 block of Cliff Avenue. This is the rescheduled project from late April.

During this time, all traffic should detour via either Sicamous Street or George Street, as the work zone (shown in red on the below diagram) will be blocked off for site safety.

There is not expected to be any interruption to water service or change in water quality. All driveways in the area can still be accessed during the work.

Thank you for your patience as these works are completed.

That sparkle is thanks to more than 60 volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to volunteer for the Our Enderby Clean-Up Challenge 2026 on April 18.

Enjoy this video recap...and if you feel inspired by these community members, consider checking out Enderby's brand-new volunteer website: Volunteer Enderby (volunteer.enderby.ca), for all kinds of local opportunities to make a difference.
