There you have it!

2937 successfully completed their first FTX of the 2023/2024 season. We learnt how to build fires, how GPS’s work and of course honed our improvised shelter building skills.

Although a little water logged we slept in tents in order to develop our tent discipline, however some decided to take the plunge and attempt to sleep in their shelters!

We return a little wet, but looking forward to retuning to the field in the near future!

2937 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps successfully hosted the 2023 East Hants Terry Fox Run!

A major thank you to all the donors, runners, volunteers, parents and of course the Cadets who came out today; none of this would be possible without your support! The numbers aren’t in yet in regards to our total amount raised this year, however we’ll be certain to keep you posted.

2937 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, in conjunction with the Enfield Legion’s Legion Week, successfully conducted our 2023/2024 open house!

New and returning cadets were exposed to various aspects of the Army cadet training program including Marksmanship, Bushcraft and Camouflage & Concealment. Plus there was free CAKE!

2937 is looking forward to another great training year; hope to see you there!

Come Join us!

No Seriously! 2937 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps (“RCACC”), in conjunction with the Enfield Legion’s “Legion Week”, will be hosting an Open House to the community!

If you (or your child aged 12-18) have ever wonder what it might be like to become an Army Cadet then please come on down this Tuesday Night (September 19, 2023 between 6:30 and 9:00) and check out the unit! 2937 will be hosting various activities throughout the night for any new and returning cadets that may stop by.

The Royal Canadian Army Cadets appeal to youth craving exciting outdoor activities where their personal limits as individuals and team-members will be tested. The hardcore outdoor-oriented will love the challenge! Do you have what it takes?

!!UPDATE: POSTPONED UNTIL SEPT 24!!

Due to the impending storm, and in conjunction with the Terry Fox Foundation, 2937 Royal Canadian Army Cadets - RCACC Enfield and the Enfield Legion will be postponing the 2023 East Hants Terry Fox Run until September 24th, 2023.

All other details regarding the even will remain the same.

2937 Royal Canadian Army Cadets and the Enfield Legion will be hosting the 2023 Terry Fox Run for the East Hants area.

The annual Terry Fox Run has become a fall tradition in Canada, with more than 650 communities, big and small, urban and rural, English and French, fundraising for cancer research. This year, you can register and participate on Sunday September 17!

The run will take place throughout Enfield and Elmsdale, encompassing a 10km run (round trip). Along the path Cadets from 2937 RCACC will provide water, refreshments and emergency contact services to assist any injured participants.

Registration and start/finish line(s) will be at the Enfield Legion (50 Old Enfield Rd, Enfield). Registration begins at 8:00am, however you can preregister at the link below. The run commences at 8:30am with no specific end time (refreshments and services provided by the Cadets will cease at 11:00).

Come out and help the community in continuing Terry’s Marathon of Hope by setting the example that will never be forgotten.

It’s almost that time of the year!

That’s right, 2937 Enfield Royal Canadian Army Cadets is gearing up for another great training year! The Unit will begin the 2023-2024 training year on September 12th; we’re looking forward to seeing all the new and returning cadets!

We have jam packed training plan this year! If you (or your child) are interested in the cadet program, drop on by the local headquarters on a Tuesday night (between 1830 – 2100hrs) to check us out and learn what the program is really about.

The Army Cadet Program is designed for youth between the ages of 12-19, the cadet program offers once in a lifetime opportunities that develop leadership, citizenship, and self-confidence. From hiking, canoeing, to going on expeditions - your ultimate adventure challenge starts here! Do you have what it takes?
