Souris Valley Museum The Souris Valley Museum is a regional history museum that focuses on human development and settlement within Southeast Saskatchewan.

The Souris Valley Museum features numerous displays and historic buildings, both inside and outside the Museum. Our collection deals primarily with the settlement of Southeast Saskatchewan. Displays within the Museum include the rooms of a house, a stable, many vehicles, a hunting/trapping display, a farming equipment display, a First Nations artifact display, and one of Estevan's original fire tr

ucks. Our historic building collection includes the Schneller Schoolhouse, a Cook Car, and a Homesteader Shack. The Museum also features an external display of large mining equipment.

A big thank you to everyone coming out to enjoy Heritage Fun Day!

This event could not be possible without the amazing people helping us put this on!!

Don’t forget about the 50/50 fundraiser! We are selling tickets until July 5th! Draw date is July 6th!

This was also all free to the public thanks to a grant from the Community Grant Program through the Estevan Leisure Services and the City of Estevan!

This gas pump was looking pretty rough since it was first displayed in the SVM. Walt Stregger would come to our Senior Social events and he mentioned that it needed to be restored. Well last year he did just that for us!! It looks great and we gained a great friend who always brought us milkshakes. Thanks Walt!!
