REMINDER! The RM office is closed June 5 - 10 as we move to our new office. Please see the post below for details or if you have an emergency.

We are getting ready to move and our office will be intermittently closed or closed entirely over the next several days.

June 2 - 4: Intermittently closed. Please call ahead.
June 5 - 10: CLOSED - All hail insurance needs or emergency situations, please call (306) 421-7909.
June 11 - 12: Potentially open to the public with limited services.
June 15: Reopen permanently at 102 Supreme Street in the RM of Estevan.

You can also call and leave a voicemail, staff will return your call as soon as they are able.

Thank you for your patience as we work to get moved and settled into our new home. We look forward to having you visit us in our new space!

Please keep an eye on our page as updates will be made regarding our hours and availability regularly and as we are made aware of changes.

The first steps of the 2026 Shand Road Rehabilitation Project is about to get underway!

Crews will be working along Shand Road to replace culverts over the next few weeks beginning on June 1.

Vehicles that need to travel through the area: PLEASE - Follow all signs, instructions and detours and exercise caution to both protect crews working, and other travellers on the road.

The RM will update road and travel information as the project progresses. Thank you for your cooperation!

~ 2026 Absinthe Wormwood Control Program ~
The 2026 program assists with the control of absinthe wormwood, a noxious w**d found within the municipality, the RM of Estevan No. 5 is offering one (1) 9.7 L jug of Restore II herbicide to eligible acreage owners within the RM for treatment purposes.

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

🌿 You reside in the RM of Estevan
🌿 You are not considered an agricultural producer
🌿 You are located on an acreage with a minimum of 2.5 acres
🌿 You did not receive herbicide from the RM in 2025

About the Program:
✅ Limit of one (1) jug per household
✅ Only available to acreage owners who did not participate in the program in 2025
✅ Limited quantities available and will be distributed while supplies last

Herbicide can be picked up at the RM Office located at 322 4th Street, Estevan, SK.

REMINDER!! April 30th (THIS THURSDAY!) is the deadline to apply for 2026 Dust Control!

The RM of Estevan is now accepting applications for 2026 Dust Control Program!

We will NOT be mailing an application form this year, please click 'See Details' below to download the application form on our site or stop into the office.

🟨Dust control area is approximately 500 feet adjacent your property.
🟩The subsidized rate for the first application is $300.
🟨A second application is available at an unsubsidized rate of $645 for residential sites.
🟩Payment MUST be made in full at the time of submitting your application.

The deadline to apply is May 1, 2026
