A friendly reminder for our community! 😊

With election season here, we know many residents want to show their support. Please keep in mind that signs of any kind are not permitted on Monument Square. This includes political signs, business advertising, event signs, and all other signage.

Any signs placed on the square will be removed immediately. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in preserving this monument as a beautiful place to honor and remember the men and women of our Armed Forces.

🧡🖤 A special night is coming for New Lexington Football! 🖤🧡

On September 25th, New Lexington Football will celebrate Coach Jim Rockwell and his 2027 induction into the OHSFCA Hall of Fame! 🏈

They’re inviting all former players who played under Coach Rockwell and all former assistant coaches who worked alongside him to come back and be part of the celebration.

Coach Rockwell will be recognized at halftime of the New Lex vs. Tri-Valley game, and afterward, players, coaches, families, and friends are invited to continue the celebration at the basement of the Elks.

It will be a great night to reconnect, share memories, and honor someone who has made such a lasting impact on New Lexington Football.

Let’s pack the house and give Coach Rockwell the recognition he deserves! 🐾🧡

💧 **BOIL ALERT LIFTED – AUGUST 26, 2026** 💧

The Boil Alert for Village of New Lexington water customers has officially been LIFTED.

Residents may now resume normal use of their water. **Boiling water is no longer necessary.**

Thank you to our residents for your patience and cooperation throughout this situation. We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding while our crews worked through the issues caused by the recent flooding.

Please share this post to help us get the word out! 💙

**BOIL ALERT UPDATE | AUGUST 23, 2026 **

Please know that the Village of New Lexington has taken every action available to us to address the situation as quickly as possible. At this time, all steps that can be completed by the Village have been completed.

The Village cannot simply choose to lift a boil alert. We are required to follow the testing procedures and guidelines established by the Ohio EPA, and the alert must remain in effect until that required process has been completed.

We understand the frustration and inconvenience this causes, especially when residents are paying for water service and are still being asked to boil their water. We share that frustration and certainly do not want the alert to remain in place any longer than necessary. However, we must follow the required Ohio EPA process before the alert can be lifted.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s continued patience and understanding. As soon as we receive confirmation that the boil alert can be lifted, we will notify residents immediately.

Until then, please continue to follow the boil alert.
