Shelter staff are essential workers. They are on the front-lines, serving women, their children, and seniors who are escaping domestic violence. In Shelter Superstars, we will be highlighting some of these hard-working staff members, from communities across Alberta, and sharing stories of their dedication and service.

This week, our Shelter Superstar is Cecilia Weenink from Crossroads Resource Centre & Women's Shelter. Cecilia has worked at Crossroads for two and a half years. Cecilia is dedicated to supporting and advocating for women and children in our community and genuinely wants to help and make a difference. Thank you Cecilia for your hard work, dedication and commitment and for being a Shelter Superstar!
