You can use them for an infinite number of fun projects, like enchanting garlands, spine-tingling party invitations, and haunting Halloween treat bags. These wickedly delightful decorations are easy to make with written instructions and patterns to supplement the video tutorial.

Halloween is almost here, and our libraries are ready to celebrate! 🎃👻

Get crafty at our Puslinch, Arthur, or Harriston Branches with special activities just for adults. Families, join us at Clifford, Mount Forest, and Erin Village for some spooky fun!
And don’t miss the Fergus Branch joining the downtown BIA for the annual Hallowe’en Street Walk, perfect for little ghosts and goblins.

Come for the crafts, stay for the community spirit. See you at the library this weekend!

Due to water service disruption, the Wellington County Library Erin Village Branch will be closed on Friday, October 16.

If you're able, feel free to visit us at Wellington County Library Hillsburgh Branch.

🚧 Water Service Disruption Notice 🚧

The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be completing repairs to the water system on Friday, October 16, which may result in temporary water service interruptions between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for the following areas:
• Daniel St. south of Spring St.
• East Church St. east of Daniel St.
• Wheelock St. south of East Church St.
• Erin Library area.

Once service is restored, some residents may experience discoloured water. If this occurs, remove faucet aerators and flush your household water lines until the water runs clear. Flushing hot water tanks is also recommended.

Join us at the Elora Branch on Tuesday, October 20 at 6:00 pm for a special visit with local author Rio Youers as we celebrate the release of his newest novel, 'What They Did'.

Rio Youers is the British Fantasy and Sunburst Award–nominated author of Lola on Fire, No Second Chances and The Bang-Bang Sisters. His 2017 thriller, The Forgotten Girl, was a finalist for the Arthur Ellis Award for Best Crime Novel. He is the writer of Refrigerator Full of Heads, a six-issue comic series from DC Comics, and Sleeping Beauties, a graphic novel based on the number-one bestseller by Stephen King and Owen King.

Enjoy a reading, discussion, and Q and A with Rio. There will also be an opportunity to purchase books and have them signed.

Looking for a fun way to spend an hour with your little ones? Make us a part of your family's routine!

'Together We Play' is a new drop-in session for young families to play, explore, connect, and enjoy time together at the library. Each session will begin and end with a story and be guided by staff. Join in on Thursday mornings at Fergus Branch, and this Thursday, October 15 at Rockwood Branch.
